This first blog post is about the experiment I did using the Japanese number one most used eyelash serum Scalp d beaute. The experiment came out of curiosity to see if it was really effective. I have made before and after pictures as well as pictures during the process.
According to their website: “This product was developed under the supervision of doctors with hair growth clinical research data from hair growth clinics.”
I bought it for around 1780 JPY (13.63 USD) in a drugstore in Tokyo. You can order it online on Amazon, iHerb and some other retailers. The price can of course be higher than buying locally in Japan. I used it diligently every morning and evening before heading to bed.
Does it really work? Yes, it does!
The Before and After pictures clearly show more volume and longer lashes.
I circled the pigmentation on the skin to show that before using the serum, the lashes did not reach that part. After five weeks, its length is touching that part, so it has definitely grown longer.
Pictures every week
Below are the pictures showing my lashes after the first week of usage up to after the fifth week of usage.
They say that after four weeks, you should be able to see results and I did see good results.
I am satisfied and happy that this eyelash serum works so well. I have not expected it to work so well for my Asian eyelashes. The bottle of 6 ml is now almost finished, I guess if I keep using it, it may last for another two weeks.
Next experiment Liaison Lash Bond
At the moment of writing, I have moved on to a new experiment: testing the popular Liaison Lash Bond eyelash serum. Like with this experiment, I will make before and after pictures and the weekly pictures for the progress. Once I have completed that experiment, I will write another blog post about the results. Stay tuned!
** UPDATE: here is the blog post about the Liaison experiment **
